Events

LIFE GEEK is a competition of art and technology, also a cultural journey, which give the young artists a platform to show. After 3 months of intense competition, the MagicPAPER group was shortlisted in the top20 and invited to shanghai to attend the opening ceremony of the display in December,1st.

The Anmoji-planning has been accepted to the 2018 UIST Student Innovation Contest. During the next two month, we will develop the system by using the own device and the make-block that provided by the UIST sponsor. And the most exciting, as the only team in China, we will demonstrate our anmoji system in the conference and compete with top100 universities around the world in Berlin 9-13 October in 2018.Such a wonderful chance! The MagicPAPER demo has been accepted to SUI 2018 in Berlin, Germany, so our MagicPAPER group will come to Berlin in October. In addition, SUI 2018 will be co-located with the ACM Conference on User Interface Software and Technology(UIST), and our demo is lucky enough to be selected to be presented at the demo session of the UIST 2018 conference! Such a great opportunity to show our system! More information, please pay attention to our website!

The UXPA China 2018 taking place from November 30 to December 2 in Shanghai, China. The Paper of “See your voice” and the paper of “The tone of Qiang” has been accepted to UXPA China 2018. And the most exciting, the first author Chenmei Yu and Fangfang He will have a specisal speech about 20 to 30 minutes at the conference in November 30th.Such a good way to share our ideas with the attendees! We look forward to the November very much!

Qin Wu received the M.F.A. degree in information arts and design from the Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2016. She is currently a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Chengdu University of Information Technology, China.
